Art and Design

When you think about the purpose of education, there are three. “We’re preparing kids for jobs. We’re preparing them to be citizens. And we’re teaching them to be human beings who can enjoy the deeper forms of beauty. The third is as important as the other two.”

Art plays an integral part in students’ awareness of how they observe the world around them. It promotes critical thinking and a connection not only to their own culture but also the wider world.

Art encourages students to use their imagination. It provides a space to express themselves and actively engage in new concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and build perseverance and confidence.
Art promotes critical thinking, teaching them to be thorough in how they observe the world.
